2012 Team PEI to Bromont for National Equestrian Championships

Two discipline coaches have been named for the Prince Edward Island team heading to the Canadian Equestrian Championships in Quebec this September. Gidget Oxner of Milton, PEI was selected as Team PEI's jumping coach, while Harma Germs-Fraser of Winsloe, PEI was selected as dressage coach. PEI Reiners have chosen not to send a team this year.
Qualifying events were held over the summer, both on the island and throughout the region - those riders with the highest points were selected to become team members. More details on the teams, along with rider and coach profiles and results of the qualifying competitions, will be available soon. The national event will be held Sept. 20-23 in Bromont and Blainville, Que.
